Hymer guarantees serial victories
Promobil “Motorhome of the Year 2009” poll

The “Motorhome of the Year” title in the poll conducted by promobil is reserved for the best. Readers of the promobil journal, all experienced members of the motorhome fraternity, were called upon once again to select their favourites from the line-up of manufacturers and models. Their vote awarded five first and five second places to Hymer motorhomes, clearly establishing them as the big winners in this year’s poll. The premium vehicles of the Upper Swabian brand scored compelling results in all the price and model categories in which they competed.
Leading the way, the Hymermobil B-Class earned the top spot for the 22nd time in succession.
Taking first place in the category of “integrated motorhomes from Euro 65,000” once again means that the Hymermobil B-SL has reigned supreme in promobil readers’ eyes for 22 years. Hymer’s new Hymermobil B-SL BestLine with Mercedes chassis clinched third place in the same category.
The Hymermobil B-CL took first place in the category of “integrated vehicles up to Euro 65,000. Hot on its heels was the compact Hymer EXSIS-i.
Hymer clinched another double victory in the highest vehicle category of “integrated motorhomes above Euro 100,000”. Here the number one place went to the Hymermobil S-Class ahead of the HymerLiner launched in 2008. While the S-Class offers select luxury in terms of styling and design, the HymerLiner designers focused first and foremost on a package brimming with technical features and corresponding functionality. In making this move they met the aspirations of many customers, which was promptly rewarded by 2nd place in this poll.
Top places also went to the Hymer C-Class in the category of “alcove motorhomes up to Euro 45,000” and to the Hymer T-Class CL in the category of “semi-integrated motorhomes up to Euro 50,000”.
Second places went to the HymerCar in the “camping buses up to Euro 45,000” category, to the HymerVan in the “vans” category and to the Hymer T-Class SL in the “semi-integrated motorhomes above Euro 50,000” category.
