Hymer presents the "Touring Fifty´s"

Bad Waldsee, February 2003

"Touring Fifty´s" is the name of the latest caravans from Hymer. These are the Puck 120 and the Triton 430 from the Eriba touring series: fashionable special models with a touch of fifties´ glitz. From the outside, the Touring Fifty´s are identifiable from their continuous silver-tinted window section and outer casing in robust stucco-style sheet metal. Despite their nostalgic appearance, the Touring Fifty´s are of course equipped with all mod cons such as Ceran-glass effect hobs with two burners (or three in the case of the Triton), round stainless steel sink, heating and refrigerator.

Other advantages are a manageable size which still leaves ample storage space, a garage-friendly height of 2.00 or 2.20 metres, a light, self-supporting and corrosion-proof tubular steel design and first-class handling.

Both caravans are a homage to the fifties, an era which saw the heyday of rock ´n´ roll, the beginning of Germany´s economic miracle and the production of the first touring caravans in 1956. A total of over 60.000 owners testifies to the incredible success of Hymer´s most popular caravan series, which has now been around for nearly five decades. The Hymer Eriba touring series currently consists of eleven standard models with numerous variations.
