What happens to e-mails with a virus

What happens to e-mails which the system detects as being infected by a virus?

If a mail addressed to you is infected with a virus or another harmful program, it is immediately filtered out of the e-mail traffic and banished. As the recipient, our server will send you a brief message that a virus was on its way to you but was stopped. In this way your e-mail account remains free of viruses and you can read and write e-mails without worrying.
