European Innovation Award

Journalists from the leading European trade magazines present the “European Innovation Award for the Caravanning Industry” annually at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. Awards are given to particularly innovative concepts from the motorhome and caravan sector. At a ceremony organised by the German magazines Reisemobil International and Camping, Cars & Caravans, the HYMER B-Class was honoured with the title of “Innovation 2011.”

Each magazine had previously nominated a particularly outstanding motorhome and caravan innovation from 2011. “It was really exciting to see all the nominations come flooding in,” says Ingo Wagner, editor-in-chief of Reisemobil International. From the submitted entries, the editors selected the most innovative manufacturer and products based on a neutral points system.

The 2011 expert jury consisted of the following editorial teams:

• Sweden: Husbil & Husvagn
• Switzerland: Wohmmobil & Caravan / autocaravane
• Slovenia: Avto-Dom
• Spain: El Camping y su Mundo
• Czech Republic: Camping, Cars & Caravans
