“Golden Motorhome” award: Four top rankings for Hymer
This is the sixth year in a row that the “AUTO BILD Reisemobil” magazine has held the “Golden Motorhome” readers’ award. The readers of the well-known trade magazine were able to vote for the most popular new products from the current model year in seven categories. The winners have now been decided: first place in the liner category this year went to the Hymer B-Class MasterLine I 880, Hymer’s first tandem-axle vehicle built on the SLC chassis. Another favourite of “AUTO BILD” readers was the Hymer T-Class S 695, which came second in the semi-integrated category. One particular highlight this year was the two top rankings for Hymer in the accessories category. This included a phenomenal first place for the E-Scooter from Hymer Original Parts, which was streets ahead of the competition, as well as a very encouraging third place for the Hymer E-Bike.
Double win for the Hymer B-Class ModernComfort in the “AutoZeitung” readers’ poll
Once again, Hymer was voted number one by “AutoZeitung” readers in the magazine’s 2020 motorhome poll. Readers were able to cast their votes in a total of five categories, and the result for the manufacturer from Bad Waldsee tells its own tale: Hymer’s B-Class ModernComfort was voted number one in both the semi-integrated and integrated categories. The combination of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis cowl and SLC chassis, which is unique in the industry, impressed everyone with its clean and elegant design, generous feeling of space and the abundance of storage space on board. This is the second year in a row that the B-Class ModernComfort has been chosen as the winner in the integrated category by “AutoZeitung” readers.
“Special Mention” for the Eriba Nova 545 in the German Design Award 2021
It wasn’t only in this year’s readers’ polls that Hymer impressed the experts: in the German Design Award 2021, the Eriba Nova 545 received the “Special Mention” award from the international jury in the “Passenger Vehicles” section of the “Excellent Product Design” category. Every year, the German Design Council uses the German Design Award to honour companies, designers, architects and agencies that stand out from the crowd with their innovative design solutions and unique design trends. Just like the Eriba Nova 545, which is particularly striking due to the characteristic round shape of this popular caravan model range. It also combines this design with lots of storage space as well as maximum stability and durability. What’s more, the two equipment lines - Trend and Ambience - enable the interior of the caravan to be customised.
