Preparing a chassis cowl for vehicle bodywork.
With the tried and tested pattern templates, the premium upholstery materials are cut into the required shapes.
All curtain and upholstery sewing work is performed by our experienced employees in our in-house upholstery workshop. Premium quality craftsmanship.
Cutting-edge, technical installations along the entire assembly line allow us to meet our high standards of quality and innovation during production.
During the prefabrication of wooden elements, all components are carefully prepared – this is also where furniture components are chamfered.
Taking utmost care is of top priority to us every step of the way. You can feel that passion for detail every time you travel in a HYMER vehicle.
Individual furniture units are accurately positioned, adhered and screwed into place on the floor of the vehicle.
Before the side walls are installed on the vehicle, they are equipped with all of their windows, doors and flaps.
A specialised machine is used to round the roof element, which is held together using a plastic profile in a form-locking manner. The curved shape means the vehicle, when compared to the competition, does not have any longitudinal seams on the roof, which prevents moisture penetration from above.
With assistance from a special vacuum lifter, the windscreen and other components are precisely positioned and adjusted to meet the defined quality standards at the end of production, making sure our customers can enjoy their HYMER vehicle for years to come.
The completely pre-assembled side wall is carefully mounted on the vehicle.
The rear of the vehicle is also mounted using the special vacuum lifter, which makes it much less strenuous to move and handle the component and to also position it precisely.
Precision work: after the side walls, rear and front section are mounted, the preassembled roof is put on.
Every vehicle undergoes constant and meticulous quality control and receives a seal of quality at the end of the assembly line.
Ready for delivery, the brand new vehicle leaves the production hall and waits for its new owners to take it on a grand tour.
