Unique body shell design
Best protection all round: The new HYMER PUAL 2.0 bodywork concept with improved foam composition and 100% wood-free design without thermal bridging offers maximum stability and the best insulation values. Thanks to the continuous GRP lightweight floor, the Exsis-i is immune to the weather and chips caused by stones. The optional
GRP roof coating provides effective hail protection. And the unique multi-layer technology of the roof even doubles the protection!
PUAL body shell
Best protection all round: The new HYMER PUAL 2.0 bodywork concept with improved foam composition and 100% wood-free design without thermal bridging offers maximum stability and the best insulation values. Aluminium on the internal side of the wall ensures a constant temperature due to heat absorption and even radiation.
Attachment parts
All attachment parts, such as wheel arches and rear light mouldings, are made of 3D cross-linked polyurethane. The benefit for you is durability as well as protection against cracking, UV radiation and other weather conditions.
GRP roof & underbody
The HYMER multi-layer technology, consisting of an aluminium PUAL sandwich, provides hail protection with an additional GRP roof coating. Leak-tightness is also guaranteed for many years thanks to the aluminium material. The robust, continuous GRP lightweight floor protects your vehicle from chips caused by stones, de-icing salt and dirt.
Polyurethane
After expanding, polyurethane is a closed-cell material. The gases trapped in the cells have extremely low thermal conductivity and therefore excellent insulating properties. Foam also comes with many other advantages. In particular, PU is water-repellent, lightweight and extremely durable.

Excellent heating technology
Heated tanks and storage spaces are guaranteed by the heating pipes, which are optimally routed through insulated troughs. Numerous tests in the cold chamber have verified the good performance of the heating system. The double-skin GRP front section with intermediate PU foam insulation keeps the cold out in the cab area too.
Heater
Multi-zone climate control: The temperatures in the various zones cab, living area and rear sleeping area can be controlled separately. This means you can have different temperatures in different vehicle spaces. So you can sleep in a pleasantly cool bed.
Hot air curtain against the front windscreen
With an intermediate PU foam insulation layer, the hot air curtain keeps the cold out in the cab area. The living area heater also supplies the dashboard with hot air when the vehicle is parked up for camping. The hot air rises against the windscreen here like a curtain and keeps backs warm when the driver and co-driver seats are turned around.
Fresh and waste water tanks

Insulation of doors, flaps and tanks
All storage compartment doors and flaps as well as the living area door are cosily insulated with HYMER PUAL technology. The “Perfect Close” technology with splash water seals on all the doors and flaps provides a reliable seal and prevents freezing in winter. The framed windows made of powder-coated aluminium are especially lightweight and sturdy and also feature an insulating layer to protect against thermal bridging.
