The ideal solution for seamlessly integrating an existing bike carrier into the storage system.
This conversion kit is required if a bike carrier is already fitted in the rear garage and is now to be retrofitted with a storage system comprising three base plates. The kit contains a mounting tube for fitting the bike carrier directly onto the base plates of the storage system, as well as a long support arm that creates the necessary clearance between the bike and the storage compartment wall.
As the rails in the rear garage – to which the bike carrier is attached – are completely covered when three base plates are used, the mounting tube allows the bike carrier to be securely fixed directly to the base plate of the storage system. The long support arm also ensures sufficient clearance and allows unrestricted use of transport boxes up to size XL.
