The Exsis in its present form has complemented the product range of Hymer GmbH & Co. KG since 2012. Since then, the vehicles, with their width of 2.22 metres and external height of 2.77 metres, have arguably been the most compact way to experience a real Hymer. Thanks to its consistent lightweight design, the Exsis is Hymer’s flagship in the 3.5-ton class. Due to the tried-and-tested high-tech PUAL 2.0 bodywork, the model range is extremely well insulated and wood-free, without any thermal bridges. The new Exsis has a new chassis in the form of the Fiat original frame, which is particularly impressive in terms of safety and comfort. The numerous assistance systems, such as the Full Brake Function or lane departure warning system, a fully automatic 9-speed transmission and new Euro 6d Temp engines with 120 to 180 hp, make long journeys in the Exsis even more comfortable. The weight of the bodywork has been reduced for the new model, creating ample payload reserves in its class up to 3.5 tons.
Completely overhauled and ultra modern: the interior
Thanks to the new bright oak wood finish and the furniture with flowing transitions, the Exsis boasts a particularly generous feeling of space. Two twin beds each measuring over 1.90 metres in length are located at the rear of the vehicle. As the overhead lockers above the beds have been removed, the rear of the new models feels particularly open and spacious. Nevertheless, plenty of room is provided by the beds and the floor-to-ceiling, full-length wardrobe. The motorhome’s inviting comfort bathroom features a large shower and convenient bench toilet. The large, 142-litre fridge-freezer can accommodate all of your food supplies and provisions. The practical interior finishes at the front with easy-to-access shelves and a large moped garage at the rear provide plenty of storage space. The living area remains level throughout.
